Sharon Stone has filed court papers seeking more time with her oldest son, Extra reports.

According to court documents, the 50-year-old filed a motion in April to modify her custody situation with ex-husband Phil Bronstein, who currently has primary custody of their son Roan, 8.

Roan was the only child the couple had during their six-year marriage. The two adopted Roan shortly after his birth in 2000. Since their 2004 divorce, Sharon has adopted two more sons, Laird, 3, in 2005, and Quinn, 2, two years ago. [Source]

Sharon Stone is following in the footsteps of an unlikely forebear—namely, Britney Spears—and seeking a little more court-approved mother-son time.

E! News has obtained court papers filed by the China-angering actress in which she seeks a modified custody order for 7-year-old son Roan, whom she adopted with ex-hubby Philip Bronstein back in 2000.

Bronstein, the Komodo dragon-angering former editor of the San Francisco Chronicle, split from Stone in 2004 and currently retains primary custody of the boy.

Stone's legal filing, entered in San Francisco County Superior Court on April 4, ask for a change in her son's primary residence, though it remains unclear whether the request is simply for joint living arrangements or if it's part of a run-up to request full custody of the boy.

Stone's rep, Cindi Berger, told E! News she had "no comment" on the filing. Bronstein's rep has not yet issued a statement.

The brand officially introduced its new advertising campaign at a press event on June 19 at Damiani's Beverly Hills, Calif., store. In attendance were members of the news media, along with Stone, Silvia Damiani, a third-generation member of the Damiani family, and Antonio Pavan, chief executive officer and president of Damiani USA.

Guests attending the event watched as Silvia Damiani introduced the campaign, while images of Stone were revealed on large plasma screens.

The campaign epitomizes female icons throughout legend and history, with images inspired by the biblical figure Eve, Amelia Earhart and today's modern woman, who the brand said in a media release is "unique and as strong as the 'every' woman."

Renowned photographer Solve Sundsbo shot the campaign, with Stone wearing jewels from Damiani's most important collections.

"Damiani campaigns have always featured women with strong personalities and natural beauty," the brand said in the media release. "This is a unique campaign, one of great impact as Sharon Stone perfectly interprets the house's style." [Source]

Sharon Stone seems to have put that China problem behind her.

The actress has grabbed herself a new gig as the face of Italian jewelry house Damiani, sources exclusively tell me.

The international print campaign for the firm's Musts and Masterpieces collection, shot on March 10, features Stone fashioned as iconic women, including Amelia Earhart and Eve (as in Adam and Eve!). "She looks gorgeous," a source says.

The jewelry company's Silvia Damiani will announce the new partnership with Stone by her side during a press conference tonight in Beverly Hills.

This will be Stone's first public appearance since getting into hot water for telling reporters last month she thought "karma" may have played a part in the recent earthquake in China because of how the country's government treats Tibetans. Although she quickly apologized, her Christian Dior beauty ads were pulled in China.

The actress, who caused an uproar after she suggested that bad karma caused a devastating earthquake in China, was dropped from Dior China's beauty campaign.

Unfortunately for Xinhua, Stone only seems to be the enemy of some mankind - the star seems to have landed herself a new advertising gig with Italian jewelry firm Damiani.

The star is hosting a party for the company at Two Rodeo in Beverly Hills, along with the organization's vice president and chief designer, Silvia Damiani, according to WWD.com.

Stone has been seen wearing the firm's jewelry over the past few months.

SHARON STONE has reportedly cut short a trip to Sweden so she can spend time with a cancer-suffering friend.

The actress jetted to be by the side of her longtime pal Kristen, after discovering her cancer had gotten worse, reports the New York Daily News.

As usual, Sharon Stone presided over the auction, but she shared the spotlight with Madonna, who was making her first appearance in Cannes with her documentary "I Am Because We Are."

"For those of you who thought we were two bitches who hated each other, I have news for you," said Stone, who rallied the crowd, including Valentino, Tommy Hilfiger, Dean and Dan Caten, Giuseppe Zanotti and Roberto Cavalli, to each pitch in $100,000 to build a pediatric AIDS center in her name. "That was the best 50th birthday present ever," she said.
